Wonderful Birthday

Yesterday was a great day! For my birthday I kept up with a tradition that started last year of running 5K and going swimming with the kids (though this year the pool was inside and not as green). Then we came home, had some leftover ice cream cake (from our party on Sunday with the Conrods), opened presents that the kids made and wrapped themselves and then Nathan took me out to dinner.

It was just unplanned irony that we went to Catch 31 for my 31st...but cool none the less to eat good seafood at the beach.

We got to dip our toes in the freezing cold ocean and walk on the sand for a bit. We also enjoyed taking pictures with the impressive statue of Neptune.

Happy Birthday! I've never been to Catch 31, but have heard it's WONDERFUL seafood! Which 5K did you run??

Catch 31 really was nice. I recommend it (w/o the kids)! I didn't run in any races...just at the Y on the treadmills, it's too cold outside these days for me!
